New Range Rover

20th August 2012

Land Rover has revealed the first pictures and details of the new Range Rover and it's bigger, lighter, greener and faster than the current model. The weight reduction has been achieved through extensive use of aluminium in the body and chassis. The aerodynamics have been improved too. Design cues have been taken from the much praised Evoque, with strong evidence of this both inside and out. Materials used in the interior have been upgraded. An entry-level 270bhp V6 diesel will be available for the first time, giving this new model fuel consumption of around 40mpg. Improvements have also been made to the new Range Rover's off-road abilities, where it will remain supremely capable as before. Deliveries are due to start early in 2013, with prices likely to start above £65,000.
